The 25th China Xiamen International Stone Fair is scheduled on March 16-19, 2025 in Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center (XICEC). As a global leading stone exhibition, Xiamen Stone Fair is divided into 8 exhibition areas with as total space of 191,000 sq.m., opening up a comprehensive platform and connecting in a broad circle.

Xiamen Habitat Design and Life Festival (XHDLF) is co-organized by Xiamen Stone Fair and International Habitat Interior Design Association (IHIDA), aiming to explore the ideal living space, facilitate industrial development by design and improve the aesthetics of urban life, thereby building a better habitation era. HDLF contains 3 parts of exhibition, forum and study tour: Habitat Interior Design Exhibition, Habitat Interior Design Development Forum and Study Tour.

In 2025, the theme of Xiamen Habitat Design and Life Festival is "Flow", which not only shows of the active situation of the design and stone industry, but also hopes that the industry will continue to move forward and shape the future. With the keen perspective and unique creativity of design, the event will capture, understand and express the trend, so as to break the traditional shackles, convey creative imagination, and play a crucial role in promoting the industry innovation.

Xiamen Habitat Design and Life Festival (2021-2024)

As a form of art display, exhibition leads the audience into an experience that transcends everyday life. As one of the three sections of Xiamen Habitat Design and Life Festival, the Habitat Interior Design Exhibition integrates stone with design, space and habitation, aiming to create a spiritual resonance and experience through dialogue with the environment and interaction with the audience.

The theme of Habitat Interior Design Exhibition in 2024 was “To Activate”, while “Flow” in 2025 is deemed as unleashing the power, bearing the expectations of the vitality, mobility and explosion of stone, industry and human habitat. The exhibition will center on the dynamic, innovative and evolving elements to explore the relationship between stone and design, inspiring the audience.

The chief curator of Habitat Interior Design Exhibition 2025 is Steve Leung, collaborating with leading figures in interior design sector including TT. Tang, Xie Ke, Danny Cheng, Ray Wong, Peng Zheng, Ray Chuang and Wang Peng. Through the power of design, we create a flowing, changing and vibrant spatial form, dissolve the boundary between stone and everything, and open a new perceptual journey.

By generating the engagement of design, the potential of stone is constantly unleashed. The topic of “Surging Design Power - Stone Innovation” will give an insider look at the changes of stone in modern design to explore its innovative applications and value enhancement in habitat design. Sustainability of stone sector is also a keen topic to be discussed in the forum. 

Designers and stone brands constantly explore and enhance the vitality and potential value of stone with practices and forward-looking innovative thinking. We expect that through their in-depth discussions and dialogues, this surging design power will become an important driving force to promote stone innovation, lead the upgrading and development of the stone industry, and create an ideal living environment.

The study tour of XHDLF is customized for designers to meet their needs. Through the field trip to stone companies and processing center in person, designers are able to get a comprehensive and deep understanding of the stone industry from stone raw blocks, processing to finished product. While meeting the needs of designers for material selection, it also helps the stone companies to open up more opportunities and achieve a win-win result for both sides.

Since its launch, the study tour has attracted nearly 1,000 designers from around the country to visit about 40 stone companies. Designers have a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics and applications of stone, so as to meet their material selection needs. On the other hand, stone brands are able to understand the needs of designers, establish close communication with them, and jointly promote the innovation and development of the design and stone industry.

Xiamen Habitat Design and Life Festival 2025 hopes to strengthen the power by exhibition, forum and study tour to make the industry flow and connect stone with design. We look forward to seeing you in the spring at Xiamen Stone Fair on March 16-19, 2025.
