采样，一种打破界限的创作方式，让艺术家从万物中汲取灵感。从 Pink Floyd 歌曲《Money》开头那段经典的钱币声，到电影配乐家 Stewart Copeland 将鬣狗的笑声融入交响乐，采样让冰冷的物件和无调性的自然之声拥有了情绪和生命。

设计师亦是天生的“采样者”。大自然这座无尽的宝库，是我们取之不竭的创作源泉。从亚平宁半岛到青藏高原，每一块石头都跨越千里，带着它固有的风土和独特的故事。Copeland 的音乐启发我们反思：我们能否用这些大自然的馈赠，去创作出属于这个时代的赞歌？

于是，一个想法应运而生：2026年厦门国际石材展“石无限”展览的主题——“石境和鸣”。我们希望每一位设计师都能从心爱的自然中寻找灵感，完成一次与大自然的共同创作。让我们用自然来装点生活，让每一件作品都成为大自然的一首诗，一段乐章。

Nature is like an artist carving mountains and rivers over billions of years, and giving stones with warmth, resilience, and legendary tales. While designers are keen “samplers”, drawing inspiration from textures and hues which can be found in the nature, thereby transforming raw rocks into tangible creations.

HARMONY OF STONES

Sampling, a boundary-breaking method of creation, allows artists to draw inspiration from all things. From the iconic sound of coins jingling at the beginning of Pink Floyd's “Money” to film composer Stewart Copeland weaving hyena laughter into symphonic music, sampling imbues cold objects and natural sounds with emotion and vitality.

Designers are born “samplers”. The nature serves as our inexhaustible wellspring of creativity. From the Apennine Peninsula to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, each stone carries its inherent terroir and unique story from afar. Copeland's music inspires us to reflect: Can we use these gifts of the great outdoors to compose an ode to our era?

Thus, an idea emerged: the theme for the 8th Stone Infinite Product Design Show - HARMONY OF STONES. We hope every designer will find inspirations in the nature to complete a collaborative work. Let us adorn life with natural items, making each piece of work a poem to the natural world, a chapter in its symphony.
